Who is eligible?
Current members of the UMWA, in good standing, their dependents, and their grandchildren are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
How much is it worth?
The UMWA will award two scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year, each for $2,500. Each will be paid in equal installments at the beginning of each semester – September 2025 and January 2026 – as long as the winners have been accepted to a degree program at a qualified institution.
How can the scholarship be used?
The scholarship can be used only for education expenses. It is not transferable and will be forfeited if the recipient does not remain a student in good standing.
How will the winners be chosen?
