We have visited employees of Barrick Gold in Elko and we have begun the process of signing Authorization Cards.
Under the law, the Union does not have the right to obtain a list of employees from Barrick Gold. IF we had a list with physical addresses of the employees plus their shift schedule we would be able to visit you on your off days at your home and answer any questions you may have about the union and the differences having a union can make at your workplace.
Since we do not have an employee list we can only talk to workers as they contact us. The Union can not do anything without your involvement. Without each employee stepping forward, the process either stalls or comes to a complete halt!
