Dock/Terminal Workers

1003 Region 3 140

The mining industry provides jobs to more than just miners, it also supports transportation workers, power plant workers, and loading dock / terminal workers. The United Mine Workers of America represents terminal workers at facilities in Appalachia and the Midwest.

Transferring millions of tons of coal, petcoke and ilmenite ore a year, these UMWA members are safe and secure in their employment. They know the union will enforce the terms and conditions spelled out in their collective bargaining agreement with the company.
